What is the difference between PDF and ePub when downloading eBooks?


When downloading EBSCO eBooks, you may see the ability to download eBooks in either PDF or ePUB format for some titles.

  • ePUB is an open eBook standard and file format that allows you to increase the size of the font, enabling you to optimize the viewing experience on desktop computers, smart phones, and tablets.

  • PDF does not allow you to adjust the text size on these devices.
