If my institution uses a firewall that is caching or using a web filter, what are the IPs or domains for EBSCO Publishing services that I need to include in my exception list?
As many of our customers need to allow access through firewalls, proxies, caching servers, filtering software and other security features, we have a list of URLs that your network will need to have full access to (incoming and outgoing traffic), in order to use EBSCOhost and our affiliated products to their fullest extent.
Please note that some filtering software can interfere with the connection to EBSCOhost. Even if the filtering software does not block EBSCOhost, it can interfere with the connection enough to cause communication problems between your server and ours.
To prevent this, please do not filter or cache the following domains or IPs. Below are the different formats needed depending upon your firewall/filtering software. In your software, this feature might be called a white list or exception list or allow list or always allow.
